Privacy Policy

When you contact us through our inquiry form, send an email, or book a shoot, we collect the personal information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of service you're inquiring about, the date and location of your project, and any project details you choose to share.

We do not require you to create an account to browse the site.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider may automatically log standard request data (IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. This data is retained briefly and is not used to build a profile of you.

We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry, schedule and deliver photography services, send you the gallery and any relevant follow-up, and process invoicing or payment if you book a paid engagement.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

To deliver the site and our services, we use a small number of trusted third-party providers. Each receives only the information necessary to perform their function:

• Aryeo — booking and delivery platform for real estate clients (handles your booking details and shoot scheduling).
• Formspree — inquiry form submissions (your form contents are routed to our email).
• Hosting provider — serves the website (logs request metadata as described above).
• Email provider — used for our reply correspondence.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies and are bound by data-processing agreements where applicable.

When you book a session that includes you, your family, or your team in the photographs, you grant us a limited license to use selected images on our portfolio site, social media, and marketing materials for the purpose of promoting our work — unless you opt out in writing at the time of booking.

Personal-use clients (Family Portraits) receive a print release for the delivered images. Commercial clients (Real Estate, Architecture, The Studio, Headshots) receive unlimited usage rights for the delivered images for their own commercial purposes.

If you want any image of you removed from our portfolio, please email hello@thewanderlustphotography.com and we will honor the request promptly.

This site uses minimal browser cookies, primarily for site functionality (such as preserving form state during a single session). We may add a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible or Fathom) which uses no personal cookies and does not track individuals across sites.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party advertising trackers.

Inquiry-form submissions and email correspondence are retained as long as is reasonably necessary to provide service, honor warranties, or comply with legal obligations — typically two to seven years depending on engagement type.

Delivered image files are retained in our archive indefinitely unless you request deletion.

You may request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, or opt out of any future marketing contact, by emailing hello@thewanderlustphotography.com. We respond to verifiable requests within thirty days.

This site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Family-portrait sessions involving children are arranged through the parent or guardian as the booking party.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the “Last updated” date above.
